Microwaving Bacon

To cook bacon in the microwave you will need a microwave safe dish and 3 paper towels.

Lay 2 paper towels on the plate. Spread the bacon out on top ?. in a single layer ?..with no overlapping.

Now lay another paper towel over the top of the bacon.

Cooking time depends on three things:
?The power of your microwave?
?The number of slices you are cooking and?
?How crispy you like your bacon.

This amount of bacon should take about 2-3 minutes to get nice and crispy.

Using pot holders?very carefully remove the dish from the microwave.

Be careful?.The dish itself will be very hot!

With some tongs?put the bacon on a serving dish?throw away the paper towels and clean up is a snap!

Wrap up the leftover bacon in plastic wrap and store it for up to one week in the refrigerator.

Or freeze it?but be sure to use it up within two months.

To defrost the packet of bacon?zap it in the microwave for about 30 seconds?..Remove it from its packaging and startcooking.
